Services Built Around Your Needs
Parent Coaching
The journey of parenting is a never-ending learning process. With this service the worker will work with the family on identifying concerns and building skills to navigate those concerns. This service is perfect for families that are in need of additional support building their “parenting tools”. Some topics of focus are locating resources, safety planning, parent education, effective communication between parent-child, money management, safe/appropriate consequences, and budgeting. This service can be provided in our office, the community or in the home of the family.
Mentoring
Our mentoring service focuses on pairing the youth with a mentor that will assist them in navigating life challenges. Whether it is role playing how to make friends, working through rough “patches”, motivating the youth to improve behaviors, or being a safe/fun outlet for the youth our mentors are ready to promote safety, well-being, and stability. Mentoring services are provided in an individual and group setting depending on the needs of the youth. Some areas of focus for this service is promoting school attendance, positive behaviors, and working towards building life goals. This service is provided in the community, in our office, virtually or in the home of the family.
Teen Mom Support
There are times where a new parent may need additional assistance to promote safety in their pregnancy and with their newborn. This service prides itself in assisting new moms (ages 13-17) navigate their pregnancy and the first year of their child’s life. During this life transition, the worker will work with the teen-mom on exploring resources, learning parenting skills, balancing changes, learning child safety skills and navigating challenges. If the parent has not received CPR training, there will be a day dedicated for this training to include (Infant, Child, Adult) CPR, First Aid and AED training. This service can be provided in the home of the family, in your office, our office and in the community.
Supervised Visitation
Whether the visitation is court ordered or the family is ready to start taking the appropriate steps towards reunification we are ready to assist along that process. We are able to work towards promoting a safe, engaging, and family centered visit. Visits can be conducted in your office, in our office, the parents home or the community. We are also able to transition between settings to promote normalcy and progress towards reunification.
Family Partnership Meeting Facilitation
All family partnership meeting documentation is provided within 24 hours of the meeting. For meetings in Spanish documentation is provided in both languages.
